Mission
“To promote tolerance and acceptance throughout the local community and to provide a safe, non-judgmental space as a support network for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Questioning, Non-Binary and beyond as well Straight Allies who share a common vision of social equality.
Vision
We envision a safe space in Miami County for the LGBTQ+ youth as well as adults to feel included, safe and valid. This vision includes an ever growing list of social events and causes to bring to the forefront.
The
Co-Founders
Peru Pride began as an idea shared by a small group of people, with Justin Eikenberry, Josh Yoder and Mallory Helvie serving as co-founders, in 2019. The organization was created to provide support for the LGBTQIA+ community, celebrate identity, and advocate for equality and inclusion.
